27Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
well I am glad to see that UNICEF is actually realizing that putting pressure on Haiti isn't going to keep those kids alive... their involvement in adoptions caused so many delays!
And while I think the idea of keeping the kids in their home countries is noble and ideally would be perfect.... I am quite certain UNICEF never gave our orphanage any money to help care for the kids there.... meaning all talk, but no help!
I am an artist, photographer, adjunct art professor, wife, mother to 5 amazing children, special needs advocate, and I am extremely passionate for the people/children of Haiti.
This is a blog about how my family, through FAITH, has moved, and are moving mountains of disabilities (blindness, spina bifida, & cerebral palsy), adoption, and everyday life. This will give you a glimpse of what our family is doing, and has done to overcome mountains with insurmountable odds. I hope you enjoy this blog and are encouraged by my five amazing children, and how they live life to the fullest with their different and special abilities.
